Hallie E. Herbert is a licensed marriage and family therapist in San Diego where she maintains a private practice. Before establishing her practice, Hallie’s counseling experience included working with a broad spectrum of clients including those at the Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (Honolulu), New Alternatives Comprehensive Adolescent Treatment Center (San Diego), Fleet and Family Support Center (Naval Station North Island), The Wellness Center at Point Loma Nazarene University, and The Family Guidance and Therapy Center of Southern California (Point Loma). She was honored to be invited to participate in the Return & Reunion Program on the USS Nimitz to assist in providing counseling services to military personnel returning from the Gulf War in 2004.
From 2006-2017, Hallie has developed and taught online curriculum for two university groups, serving as an adjunct professor at both and specializing in law and ethics, treatment theory, human development and geropsychology.
Colleagues and clients have noted Hallie as an exceptionally compassionate and creative in her abilities to deliver innovative, accessible, and effective counseling and psychotherapy.
Hallie is married and the mother of two sons.
